scripture reveals that Yahuah's Appointed Times or Feasts of the Lord are
integral and fundamental to worship of our Everlasting Father, Yahshua
HaMaschiach of Nazareth (Christ). There are seven Feasts of
the Lord and two Biblical celebrations. Four feasts
are in the spring and three are in the fall. The two celebrations are in
the winter months. |
| In
addition to these major feasts, scripture reveals, we have additional
special times for praise and worship of our Everlasting Father. These
times also include the weekly Sabbaths, the monthly renewed moon days and
sighting of the first crescent moon or Rosh Chodesh. The four spring feasts are Pesach (Passover), Hag HaMatzah (Feast of Unleavened Bread), Yom |
|
| Habikkurim (Day
of Firstfruits) and Shavuot (Pentecost). The three fall feasts are Yom
Teruach (Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement/Judgment) and
Sukkoth (Feast of Tabernacles). The two Biblical celebrations are Hanukkah
(Festival of Lights) and Purim. One of the most important principles of the Feast Days is they have Sabbaths associated with them. Therefore we must know how to keep the Sabbath and not desecrate it when keeping the Feasts. For a comprehensive review of scripture on how to not desecrate the Sabbath days, please read the Ministry's Featured Bible study titled, "How to Keep the Principles of the Sabbath Day and Not Desecrate It." To learn how to sight the first crescent moon, keep a Biblical calendar, and how to keep the monthly renewed moon days, see the Ministry's Featured Bible Study titled, "Why the Sabbath is Determined by Sighting of the First Crescent Moon." In this study, also learn how the only way the "counting of the omer" works as scripture describes it is in the context of the Biblical Calendar that is lunar based. Be sure to return to the studies for updates. In order to print the Bible studies from a web browser, you need to set your left margin to .75 inches and your top, bottom and right margins to .50 inches. The orientation should be set to landscape. If you have reduction capabilities, you can set the margins to about .35 inches & reduce to 90% and set the orientation to portrait.
