Will There Be An End-Times Exodus to Israel ?

D
uring the Festival of Purim, my family and I experienced a series of interesting events. I'd like to share them with you and let you be the judge to decide if this is a revelation experience from our Everlasting Father, Yahuah or just a series of coincidences or even an experience caused by unclean spirits.

I'm strongly impressed that our experience is of Yahuah and I take it as a confirmation of important and critical end-time events that are to occur in the near future. I'm sharing this experience with you as well as provide references so that you may study and pray to see what the Ruach HaChodesh (Holy Spirit) confirms to you.

Is Ariel Sharon a type of end-times Mordecai? MSNBC news article dated March 8, 2001 states in the body, "Sharon’s first full day as prime minister fell on the start of the festive Jewish holiday Purim." Is there a prophetic significance to this event?

In another news report which I cannot find at this time, Ariel Sharon publicly stated his commitment to gather all Jews back to Israel after taking office as Prime Minister. Is there a prophetic significance to this statement?

With these two points in mind, let me proceed with the interesting and unusual experiences we had during the Festival of Purim and provide you resources for your own investigation.

Approximately one and half to two weeks before the Feast of Purim according to the traditional Jewish calendar on Adar 14 (March 9) my wife approached my ten year old daughter and asked her what she would like to read from the Bible. My daughter replied, "The Book of Esther." Keep in mind at this point that my daughter had no idea that the Festival of Purim was approaching in a few weeks so it's unusual that she would choose this particular book.

We never observed the Festival of Purim in the past either. I knew the festival was coming up but didn't talk about it with my family until a few days prior to the Festival. We wanted to determine which congregation in our area observed this Festival. I didn't really know what the Festival was about at this point but knew we wanted to observe it because it was Biblical. This was going to be our first observance of this Biblical Festival. Note that we had been observing the Feast Days diligently beginning with Yom Teruach (Day of Trumpets) that began at sunset on September 29th, 2000 or Tishri 1 according to the traditional Jewish calendar.

I had a brother in Messiah, Bill K., who had become a family friend visit me the very weekend before the Festival of Purim (March 2-4). Bill is the author of the site Kehilat Beth Miqlat (you can find it on the home page of this ministry).  I had no real plans for the weekend but Bill seemed to have a few other plans in addition to making a visit with my family.

On Saturday, March 3rd, 2001 we decided to go to Avodah Yeshiva, a congregation North of Seattle, Washington for Sabbath services (you can find their link on the home page of this ministry). This visit was shortly after the big earthquake in Seattle. Bill K. presented a short discussion of the prophetic meaning of the earthquake.

During the service there was a flyer announcing a regional gathering of Messianic Congregations near Sumner in the evening. We decided to go to the regional gathering and in addition, Bill invited my family to another event the very next day in Bremerton where Eddie Chumney was going to speak. I had no clue what Eddie Chumney was going to speak about at this point but thought it would be a good idea to visit the Messianic congregation in Bremerton. (Note: Eddie Chumney is an author of several books on the subject of Messianic Judaism. You can find a link to his web-site on the home page of this ministry. Click here to get there.)

On our way to the regional gathering near Sumner, Bill casually asked what is the next area of the Bible I would be interested in studying. I replied something like, "I think the restoration of the two houses of Israel will be important." I remembered Bill introducing me to this concept and I knew there was something important here.

That evening we attended the regional gathering of Messianic congregations for praise, worship and fellowship. It was enjoyable. The very next morning on Sunday, March 4th we drove to Bremerton to see Eddie Chumney speak.

I remembered Eddie Chumney speaking about the two houses of Israel during the Feast of Tabernacles in the Fall of 2000 in Ocean Shores, Washington. This Feast was organized by Christian Renewal Ministries, www.Shalom-CRMI.org. Eddie Chumney's presentation didn't capture my interest at that time and my focus was on understanding the Feast of Tabernacles among other subjects at the Feast. Little did I realize that on Sunday, Eddie Chumney was going to speak about the restoration of the two houses of Israel.

This time it was different. Eddie Chumney's eight hour presentation of the restoration of the two houses of Israel that day was very revealing and impressive. It kept my attention, and I know Bill's attention, all day. We were thoroughly excited about what Eddie had to say. I bought the taped session. (Note: if you are interested in knowing more about Eddie's presentation, please e-mail me. I can loan you a copy of his presentation or refer you to where you can obtain the taped session.) The most interesting prophetic point that was made is that the restoration of the two houses of Israel will result in a end-time exodus to the land of Israel.

That evening, Bill arranged for me, my family and him to drive Eddie to the airport and we did. We made a stop at a place to eat. We talked more about the restoration of the two houses of Israel during the drive and at the restaurant.

After the dinner, Eddie realized he had two books with him that did not sell. One was titled, "Restoring the Two Houses of Israel" and the other titled, "Who is the Bride of Christ?" He indicated that he wondered why he had two books left that didn't sell at the seminar and finally casually stated something like, "Now I know why I have these two books, The Lord tells me to give these books to you." It was humbling and it helped me financially because I wanted to purchase the books at the presentation but didn't have the budget at that time.

We dropped Eddie off at the airport later. On our way home, Bill casually and in good humor stated something like, "James, when you said you wanted to study the two houses next, you really jumped on the subject." I laughed because I didn't expect to be immersed in it right away and felt it was the leading of the Ruach HaChodesh. Little did I realize what was ahead for me in the next two weeks.

The Festival of Purim was on Thursday of the the very week when Eddie Chumney was speaking on the restoration of the two houses of Israel in Bremerton. It wasn't until a few weeks later that I realized the significance of why Purim began the very Thursday of the week that Eddie was speaking in Bremerton and I will share that with you later.

I decided that my family and I will observe the Festival of Purim with Avodah Yeshiva. We observed the festival on Thursday evening, March 8th, 2001. It was a good experience. Up to this point I didn't get a chance to review any papers regarding Purim and basically observed the occasion. Nothing really stood out during the time we spent at Avodah Yeshiva relating to the observation of the festival from a prophetic view-point. I prayed to understand the significance of the meaning of Purim and for Yahuah's teaching. I wasn't expecting anything special but only a basic understanding.

Up to now, every single festival we observed always had a new revelation or learning experience. Later that evening we returned home. I picked up my book titled, "A Family Guide to the Biblical Holidays" by Robin Scarlata & Linda Pierce. I started reading the section on Purim titled, "Purpose of Purim." Up to now I had the opportunity to read about a particular Biblical Feast day prior to the feast day. This time I was behind and started my study at the very beginning of Purim after the Purim celebration at Avodah Yeshiva.

After a few paragraphs of reading the section on Purim, I read the following sentence that stated, "During these years, the Jews were divided into two kingdoms, Israel and Judah. Both kingdoms had fought with each other. The prophets had tried to get the two groups together. Now that the Hebrews faced extinction, they joined kingdoms and turned to God for mercy." Immediately I was stunned. The theme in the Book of Esther of the two kingdoms Israel and Judah being re-united under persecution was EXACTLY the same theme relating to the restoration of the two houses of Israel taught by Eddie Chumney and Bill K.. This was also the theme of the week based on circumstances and events around us.

Eddie Chumney teaches that the House of Judah (Judah or Judaism) will be reunited with the House of Israel (Ephraim or Christianity) in the last days. In the last days, these two groups are prophesized to experience extreme persecution by the world at large. This is the exact same situation that occurred between the Kingdom of Judah and Kingdom of Israel in the Book of Esther. It was exciting to realize this especially after events earlier in the week.

Psalm 83:4 is also referenced by Robin Scarlata and Linda Pierce, and states- "They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance." This situation is at hand. The nation of Israel is currently under condemnation by the Islamic world in general and the United Nations. It's not long before the situation is out of control and certain leaders of the Islamic countries will act on the phrase, "let us cut them off from being a nation."

A major Middle East war can be damaging to the world at large. This topic is beyond the scope of this write-up so I won't cover it here. The resulting scenario is a tribulation for people around the world. A good study relating to this is titled, "What Will Happen To Egypt, Jordan and Syria in the Last Days?" You can find it on the home page of this ministry.

At this point, I remembered the article about Ariel Sharon wanting to gather the Jews to Israel and the fact that his first day in office was on the start of the Festival of Purim. I thought to myself, "Is Ariel Sharon a type of Mordecai?" This was a unique thought and I had never witnessed anyone else saying or writing something like this.

About a week passed by. I was browsing the Internet and decided to stop off at Michael Rood's site www.MichaelRood.com and see what was happening. To my amazement I see an article titled, "An open letter in support of Prime Minister Ariel 'Mordecai' Sharon." This was confirmation of my thought about a week earlier that Ariel Sharon may be a type of end-times Mordecai.

In another case, it was also very interesting that Bill K. and I visited Eddie Chumney when he was speaking about the restoration of the two houses of Israel on the first day of the very week of Purim. The theme of Eddie's presentation was the theme of Purim and it was in the same week.

It's now July 20th, 2001 and I haven't had a chance to study the reunification of the two houses of Israel. I know that I want to understand this some more. At this point, the question is "will there be an end-times Exodus to Israel?" I'm convinced so far that there will be a supernatural exodus, and my personal experience gives me conviction regarding this prophecy. I will not be completely comfortable with it until I get a stronger scriptural foundation that I can understand.

At this point, I recommend Eddie Chumney's book, "Restoring the Two Houses of Israel" and listening to his 8-hour taped presentation. This is one way you will learn about the prophecy of the restoration of the two houses of Israel. If you like, I can provide you a loaner copy of the tapes or direct you to someone who can sell you the tapes. I also refer you to Bill K. of Kehilat Beth Miqlat. Bill has been teaching this subject for many years and has consulted authors such as Eddie Chumney on this prophecy.

I want to also point out an important consideration that I know specifically from Bill K.. Israelite nations are to rise up around the globe super-naturally. One of those nations is suppose to be here in Eastern Washington. I asked Bill, "If there is an end-time exodus to Israel, then doesn't your point about an Israelite nation here in Eastern Washington conflict with prophecy about the re-unification of the two houses of Israel?" The answer is that this end-time exodus may not be exclusive to the current nation of Israel but can also include future Israelite nations around the globe. You may want to review Bill's study titled, "The Prophetic Geography of North America." These events are to be driven super-naturally.

Don't forget this important high-level principle of scripture- anyone can be an Israelite. You are an Israelite once you are baptized into Messiah because baptism makes you seed of Abraham (
Galations 3:26-29). Galations 3:26-29 points out that the Salvation of Messiah belongs to all - Jew, Greek (gentile), slave, free, male or female.

May Yahuah Bless,
