| This is the Yahoo! club handbook
for Malkhut Yahweh Avodah (Kingdom of Yahweh Ministry). Because the club
is on the Internet and is part of the ministry's program for believers and
non-believers alike, group dynamics is important to understand. This
handbook is to help facilitate communication and understanding between the
ministry and it's club members as well as among the membership. Also,
please be sure to read the "Introduction" on the ministry's
home page. A list of topics is provided below. |

| Policy
on member public listing: Member public listings have basically two components. One is the member handle or "nick name" and the other is the member comments in the member listing section. In either case, member handles or "nick names" and member comments that contain pornographic or sexually explicit words will be either deleted immediately or the member will be warned depending on the type of statement in the handle or comment. Once your handle is deleted, Yahoo! currently has no way of allowing a club owner to reactivate a handle. The only way you will be able to get back in is to get a new Yahoo! account and join again. Policy on member profiles: Because a member profile is considered their "home," profiles are not reviewed for content unless there is an explicit pornographic picture displayed. Members should take caution when entering another member's profile. Keep in mind the club is open to the public and members may join at any time and often I cannot review every profile. The number one reason for keeping the club open to the public is for the purpose of ministering and outreach. Making the best use of member postings: Members may post links and personal ads. Postings may discuss any relevant topic regarding Bible scripture and for fellowship. Topics can range anywhere from prophecy, current events, Bible doctrine such as Sabbath, Biblical archaeology, prayer requests, etc. Discussions are open and aside from pornography, you basically can express your view without risk of getting yourself deleted as a member (unlike certain clubs). Please do not use ALL CAPS since I have reserved it for specific type of posts. If you use ALL CAPS accidentally or see others who have, please let them be. I don't want to make an issue of it. Watch for postings by the ministry that begin with the title, "VIDEO LINKS," "HOT LINK," or "MINISTRY BIBLE STUDY." Be sure to review past posts that begin with these titles because they contain important study material. If you use the postings for a personal ad try using the suggestions in the next paragraph. The following are suggested posts that can be used in the club's posts, member listings or personal Yahoo! profiles. If you are looking for a monogamous marriage partner, start the post like this, "SEEKING A Husband," or "SEEKING a Wife." Making the best use of member profiles and listing comments: Your member profile is a great way to "love your neighbor as yourself" on the web. After all, how do you expect to get to know each other with a profile that is not descriptive and has no photo? A profile that is not honest and sincere is like wearing a mask and is deceptive. So a profile that tells others about yourself and has your real name is being a good neighbor. Because this is the Internet, please use discretion too if you feel that your personal security may be compromised by giving out your real name. Be sure to include your real location. A minimum of city, state and country should be listed. There may be other members near you seeking fellowship or family. Be sure to have some form of e-mail address on your member profile or a way another member can reach you while you are offline. Get a Yahoo! Messenger if you don't have one. The member listing comments can also be used for letting other members know a little about you without them having to click on your profile. If you are a Messianic Jew, a "Shalom" or other similar saying is a good clue. If you are trying to learn about the scriptures say so in your comments. Use the member listing comments as a way to quickly identify yourself and invite other members to contact you. If you are seeking a marriage partner then you may want to use the same suggestions given in the section above titled, "Making the best use of member postings." This time use the suggestion in the members' listing comments or in your Yahoo! profile. Member Seeking Ads: Please see the sections above titled, "Making the best use of member postings," and "Making the best use of member profiles and listing comments." Where are members from? Members are invited from all communities on the Internet where there is an interest in religion, relationship or the super-natural. The objective is the "Great Commission" as I have stated in the Ministry's "Mission" on the home page. Members are invited from communities that are Jewish, Christian, Messianic Jewish, Moslem, Baptist, LDS, Church of Christ, Catholic, New Age, Buddhist, Church of God, satanists, Seventh Day Adventists, Lutheran, Protestant, etc. Members are invited from communities set-up for relationships such as single Christians, single Jews, single Moslems, any type of single community or single alternative community. Alternative communities may include Christian gays & lesbians, gays, lesbians and those seeking plural or polygamous relationships. The important point is we must stand firm in true Bible doctrine while inviting others to share and learn in what is offered at Malkhut Yahweh Avodah. Invitation of members from different communities IS NOT AN INDICATION OF SUPPORT of their doctrines or beliefs. Ministering to others in the membership: For those who are born-again Christians, this is your opportunity to minister to others when questions are posted in the club or prayers are being requested. For those who are non-believers and curious about all that is posted, this is your opportunity to ask questions, investigate and learn from the ministry. Don't forget the ministry's home page is a wealth of resources. Policy on Club Links: The "Club Links" section is for members who want to post links to other sites. Links in this section are not endorsed by Malkhut Yahweh Avodah unless posted by me, "JamesMessianic." Even when links are posted by me, it does not mean that I endorse all doctrine presented because the doctrine may or may not be complete. Therefore, the Bible studies delivered in the section titled "Ministry's Featured Bible Studies" only are endorsed 100% by me. The advantage of placing links in the "Club Links" section is that it will remain in the "Club Links" and won't get buried in the postings. You will no doubt find links to doctrine that is contrary to what the Bible has to say posted by other members of the club because of the variation of members. But if you read with discretion, some of these links may be useful for learning Jewish roots or more about the Abrahamic faiths. |
